    Clarity Quality of Trijicon Accupoints

Looking at a TR24. Tritium aside, how is the quality of the glass?

I can't say as I'm not really very well versed in high end glass. I do know this much. I will handle and view any Accupoint or ACOG I am going to purchase. I love these scopes. Have one, will own more. But handling a dozen or more and I'm conviced, most have a very crisp illum recticle but some will look a bit off. Not quite laser crisp. So I have to view it before I buy it.

Clear, but it does fisheye a tiny bit around the edges (you get used to it).

Make sure you have the diopter set correctly...it seems to effect the image more on the TR24 than the other AccuPoints.

Hmmm.... I finally have a TR24 in route and am supposed to receive it tomorrow. I'm not experienced in high end glass either. Is there anything I should specifically look for in my new toy? If I get one that's a little "off" I'm probably never going to know it.

My corrected vision seems sensitive. Most Accupoints illum portions of recticle look
VERY sharp and precise to me. A few I look through and the illum portion is either not concentric or "smeared". My theory is that they are very minor variations in something in the scope I don't really comprehend. YMMV. I may be full of Sht.
