    Trijicon ACOG TA26SG-10

Has anybody tried out the Trijicon ACOG TA26SG-10? I haven't been able to find any reviews on it. Also does anybody know how it mounts? That isn't specified on the website.

Any thoughts? I'm thinking of getting this instead of a Aimpoint T-1

I think what you really want is the TA44SG-10

with the LaRue Tactical ACOG Compact Mount QD LT-105

or the American Defense Manufacturing AD-B2

I'm considering this setup for a new lightweight rifle myself. With the Larue mount I think it's within an ounce or two of the T-1 in Larue tall mount.

How do these 2 differ? Their stats seem to be exactly the same except the ta44 looks more traditional in it's mounting. What's up with the way the ta26's base looks, how does it differ in mounting?

    matai,

Does the gun you're planning to put it on have a fixed front sight? If so, then I recommend the Trijicon TA60 mount instead of the LaRue.

It has the MBUS, but I'll probably end up putting it on the MSAR MCS once that comes out and getting a TA33G-H for my AR.

The TA44SG-10 does look like it'd be easer to mount, especially with a Larue QR

Do you guys think using this would have any speed difference than an Aimpoint?

    I just received the 1.5, TA44SR-10 for T&E
I will be testing it against my T1

Bill Wilson got both the Circle dot and crosshair model in a few weeks ago and was raving about the crosshair model, said he though it was just as fast and more precise

I plan to check on out in the near future as well

Frankly, I am sort of struggling with the intended use and advantage of the 1.5 Acog over an Aimpoint, yes, the image / target pops more but I think if I was kicking in doors (which I am not) I would prefer the aimpoint

I need to get out to the range and play some with both
also want to check for stalk hunting on hogs

I have had the TA33s before and so I am anxious to try the 1.5 out in the field.

I requested the green version but they were out and asked if red was OK
in some sense, for a direct a/b against a red dot, it makes sense

wish they did the crosshair version in green

What did you think of the TA33s?

I somehow managed to tolerate it with the first few compacts (no idea how I was able to shoot like that), but with this last one, I finally gave up on the FSB/LaRue configuration. The Trijicon TA60 places the optic higher.
