how do i go about breaking in a new m4?

I'm about to purchase a stage model 1L, is there a break in procedre I should go through? And does anyone have any information on paq 4 infared lasers? Are they legal to own to the public?

Yes, IR lasers are legal. But, the problem is getting them from the source. For example. A police officer purchases one on letterhead, uses it and then sells it to Joe Public. Not a problem. But the manufacturers cannot sell them to Joe Public directly.

Just aquired a paq-4 recently and didn't know the law aspect of it. On the companies website it says federal agencies only that's why I asked here. And to be honest I'm not sure I'm going to ever use it. And I was told to break in an m4 buy sooting 5 rounds, run a patch down the barrel and reapeat about 3 to 4 times. Which doesn't make to much sense to me. Thank you all for your insight. If anyone is intrested in the paq-4 email me mxriderkev@yahoo.com

Do you have NVGs to see the laser? I'm trying to see the practical side of having it...

I only have hand held nigh vision. For myself it was a spure of the moment purchase, I really don't have practical use for them. But it is pretty cool though
