    Yep, I did some searching and found a lot of the info you've posted up on shaving GB's.....I can say you're definitely patient person because you've taken the time to answer the same question over and over several times over the years !

    Anyways, I ended up taking about 1/8" off the large end of the taper pins to get them to match up with the new profile.

    After reading some info you posted on installing the DD Lite a long time ago, it sounds like it could be really fun getting the taper pins installed through the handguard without a starter tool........I may have to fab something up while I'm waiting for the rail to arrive.

    Got it all finished up. I shaved my gb enough that I was able to pin it in place and then slide the rail over it.

    mine looks about that small and it doesn't look like it'll fit underneath.
