    Sig 55X safety

    I have a legacy 556R that was ergonomically challenged, thought this was good.

    Will probably dremel off 1/8" and alumihyde it black

    I don't remember rotating the selector being an issue, perhaps because my hands are a bit larger than average. Looks like it will certainly provide more leverage though.

    The selector is just out of reach, when shouldered and pointed, for a wide range of users with the 552's we used institutionally... compared to say an M4

    This led to people coming off safe while weapon down at the ready, when the hand at a different angle, or simply running off safe in the same way MP5's often were. Less than optimal for obvious reasons.
