    Got around to shooting in kit today for the first time in entirely too long. The SCAR was still a blast to shoot, even if I really was rusty on it.

    Back to the OEM stock for me. With running the can on it more and more, I was getting worried about how the KDG back plate would affect the receiver.

    Changing your gas jets and adding a hig desert dog buffer alleviates that issue.

    Board policy mandates I state that I shoot for BCM. I have also done work for 200 or so manufacturers within the firearm community. I am prior service, a full time LEO, firearm instructor, armorer, TL, martial arts instructor, and all around good guy.

    I also shoot and write for various publications. Let me know if you know cool secrets or have toys worthy of an article...

    I might very well look at changing the jets. I actually really like the OEM stock, so I’ll likely keep it on there.
