I filed on the grip (MIAD) and the lower on my SCAR. Fit is perfect but then again this is what I do every day. I had no problem fixing the lower they way it should have been...

Chuck Norris has to maintain a concealed weapon license in all 50 states in order to legally wear pants.
Here's mine.....
Cheers
I'll probably join the thread when the 17s comes out.
I should have bought one of these because the prices are going back up.

Any particular reason why you switched out the PWS with an A2?
Interesting. Are you going to be getting your barrel cut down, or did you SBR it in advance for when (or "if") the factory short barrels are released?
A short barreled SCAR just makes SO much sense to me
On another note, damn all of you guys! You assholes are tempting me to go out and buy a SCAR for myself, so stop with all the awesome pics already! Jerks

You may notice that my XPS mounted on a backwards LT mount so keep the levers out of the way. Good thing the XPS is so short.
Without the lower 1/3rd cowitness, it would be absolutely unusable. The front sign blocks a huge chunk of viewfield on any optic I put on this rfile, including full-sized Aimpoint on a tall mount. I am yet to see a single photo of anybody running an optic on SCAR with irons up.
No problems with reloads. However, my main bitch about the current sling setup is that switching from strong side to support side is slightly slower (at least according to my shot clock) than running it all the way out. I think I'm gonna try running the stop as a stop first and go from there.Re KAC handstop as a sling attachment point: I've tried it on SCAR and AR, and on both such attachment laid the sling squarely over mag well during reloads, making them more difficult than they should be.
