Just from what I've seen and read, as of right now $2,000 is a very good price and not very common to see. I think $2,300+/- is around the average that dudes are paying right now, and to me is acceptable. If I really wanted one badly and saw it hanging on the wall in front of me at my local gun store with a price tag of $2,500, I'd probably buy it depending on the mood I was in. However, I would NOT pay more than $2,500.

Also note that I'm only referring to the Dark Earth-colored SCAR, not the black one that was just released. Guys are asking ridiculous prices for those.

BTW, out of curiosity, how much was the one you saw locally, and what color was it?

it was a tan one........for $3200 !!!!!!!! i knew it was high,but didn't think that high....i've fingerbanged a couple times,but thats it.i saw a guy at the range had one,but i was pressed for time so i didn't get a closer look.

Since I am not a fan of the SCARS looks at all, I do have to say this one caught my eye...Of course mine would be all black.
