Thanks, both the optic mounts are Larue (LT660 & LT745). I like them because they keep the path of the charging handle clear of obstruction. The PEQ is barely noticeable on 1x power through the Leupold. Any higher magnification and it's completely removed from the sight picture. The Surefire switches are simply held in place by velcro. I've since removed the vertical stubby from the 17 because it was just getting in the way of things, glad you like them!

They're both factory short barrel assemblies.

    My FN Scar

I'm playing to!! Heres my Scar 17 I got it last October and have only put 100 rounds through it. I have a AAC MITER FH for it but I think the PWS Brake on it is fine. My plans are to buy a FDE Elcan 1-4, add a Geissele trigger and get a factory 13 inch barrel and put a BE Meyers flash hider on it to make it 16 inches. Needless to say I have plans for this rifle. I think by far its the best battle rifle out there it's light and and its accurate especially the FDE Versions

Been looking for a new rifle platform and am thinking ACR, but this SCAR thread is making me think otherwise.

Yep that is who does quality work on SCAR barrels but now that OEM SBR units are available, many are opting to keep the stock 16" barrel assembly and by an SBR unit (relatively easy to swap them out).

ACR? Bushmaster makes it, you do realize this rifle is a shell of what the Magpul Masada was supposed to be. If remington ever releases the REMINGTON ACR to civilians, well that is a completely different rifle...
