    Aray,

Are you and T_K going to this? I just might have to go try it out!
I save money using AMSOIL full synthetic lubricants. Do you?

Yes, I'm one of the Safety Officers, I'll be running a stage most likely. I'd love to get lucky and just shoot, but I doubt it.

    Ashton,

Thanks to ARAY's suggestion, I attended my very first IDPA shoot, well heck, my first anything competitive shoot!

I thought that although I may not be blazing fists of fury, I was fairly accurate and time is easy enough to work on. Like one of the RSO's commented on my shooting.... he said "Pretty damn good shooting, ya know.... you can not miss fast enough to win a gunfight, and your targets may have taken a bit of time, but they all equal dead targets."

So I was happy that more than a few folks commented on my ability to place rounds. I 100% blame this new ability on ARAY and The_Katar, they did this to me.

Now I need to get speed..... So this will be what I try to work at in the next month.

Anyways, here is a picture of one of the courses (not me) and then my result paperwork.

Here is the still picture of course #4

And here is the results of my effort:

Note that on course #4 I totally forgot the head shot on that last target.... and that is what gave me the big hit to that score. I placed 2 in center mass and then dropped to low/safe and the RSO asked me is shooter is finished?.... and I replied yes, he then asked again... is shooter sure he's finished? I again said yes, shooter is finished.... and he had me clear the weapon and then asked me why I didn't wish to make the last shot after doing so well.... I was like.... DAMN IT!
