And, to clarify, the issue is most definitely the recoil lugs.

The LT-150 has two tiny recoil lugs, when all it needs is one big one.

The recoil lugs on every LaRue accessory I have ever seen aren't fat enough and that is where the creep comes from. Milling the mounts out with slot filling recoil lugs would solve the creep problem 100% and for those who for some reason don't experience creep, it would make the mount more solid and I would bet it would reduce zero shift on remounting even more.

Bobro, Burris, KAC, and even Primary Arms distribute mounts with slot filling recoil lugs. I have not looked at the bottom of other mounts but I would bet the QRP and A.R.M.S mounts have slot filling recoil lugs too.

Why can't LaRue do it? Especially at their price point.

Sorry I was "thinking rearward recoil" so yes ......mount forward to until it engages the lug account for "rearward recoil"

Sorry for the confusion...I will edit my original

They just don't seem to want to clip onto a 1913 rail properly though. None of the LT-150s I have tried have solidly attached to my Colt 6920 or my BCM Lightweight.

It also isn't a question about whether or not other brands of mounts are available as I just don't (and will not for awhile) have the money to drop on another mount and I am pretty much stuck with an Aimpoint I can't use because the "rock solid" made in dead center of Texas mount is actually pretty far from "rock solid". Plus I don't like being swindled out of my hard earned money though false advertising.

This thread just shows that I am not alone and that others have experienced it as well, so there is definitely something wrong with the way LaRue builds their mounts.
You're one guy out of untold hundreds of thousands who's managed to get a run of mounts that ain't working for you. You are the exception, not the rule, so stop whining and puling like the entire product line is somehow ****ed up. It's not. This is fact, not opinion.

The numbers speak for themselves, and having...what, four?...other dudes come along with similar stories in no way points to anything but you wanting to vent your frustration over having gotten what is far more likely a bad particular run of mounts

You have an absolute right to be unhappy. You have an absolute right to want your issues addressed. If you continue to work with the LR folks, I'd be willing to bet a month of paychecks that you will end up that way, albeit having gone through some hassle. They want to know about problems with their products as much as you want to get one that works for the $$$ you spend.

You do not have the right to talk uninformed, narrow-focus shit about a known-good manufacturer who has a public record of doing handstands to make their customers happy, after having lopped off their hands.

Bear this in mind: you were good up to the point that you started in with the "LaRue sucks because me and and an entire hockey team's worth of others (ooooooo, dats a lotta peepul hurrrrrrr...) have the same problem, even though entire branches of the US Armed Forces don't have this problem" bullshit. That's what got this closed.

You wanna bash away because you're frustrated? Mantastic. Call Maury Povich...he talks to all kinds of whackadoos who aren't capable of personal hygiene, so talking to somebody who's merely unable to conduct facts-based statistical analysis should be a vacation to him.
