Thinking about sending my Colt 1991 A1 into Wilson Combat for work

Wilson Combat will do custom work on customer supplied pistols (Colts, Springfield, Kimber and a Smith and Wesson). So I called and spoke to one of their reps today and came up with a laundry list of things to do.

Install tactical Combat sights - 105
Improved front sight post - 35

    Checkered front strap 30 lpi - 175

Extended thumb safety - 65 (includes safety and install)
High Ride Beavertail grip safety - 135

    Deluxe Trigger job series 80 - 110
    Deluxe commander hammer - 65
    A2 deluxe sear fitted - 35

    Complete reliability package - 150

    Tactical Mag release - 45

Bullet proof firing pin - 14

refinish entire gun de horn - 290

    New MSH - 65

Also considering a custom barrel and frame to slide fit
Frame to slide fit - 150
Custom barrel with bushing fitted - 280

So what do you guys think? Is it worth it? I have also considered giving Bob Miller a call as well. I know I can buy on off the sheld springfield loaded but this kind of seems fun to do.

ETA: Items it red are things I'm willing to do without to save some on cost. Also added "with" in Custom Barrel "with" bushing fitted.

So how much formal training have you had? With whom did you train? How often do you practice and what type of practice do you do? Personally I wouldn't spend that kind of money on a non-Series 70 Colt, but I'm not a 1911 expert.
