Mine came with a non threaded barrel. I wanted it the same length as my other rifle, so I added the barrel adapter and the A2. Helps add a little weight as well.

You like it ok? I've been thinking about adding one to my non threaded barrel.

I like it well enough. I was thinking it might look cheesy, but it doesn't look half bad. Serves its purpose.

It does not look bad at all. I noticed the difference but wasn't sure what it was. I did come across your other post about how you aquired the parts and it answered my questions.

The muzzle break looks fine--cheaper than paying to have it threaded.

Yes I did. It's actually a 1'x1' section I whipped up out of fishers string.

It's all Krylon. I started off with the green and brown stripped underneath with a dusting of the tan. I didn't much care for how it turned out, so I threw some of the darker colors on top.

I also agree on the muzzle adapter. It was only like $25 and I already had the A2 laying around.

Nice, I'll have to try that if I ever get the nerve to rattle can my 15-22. Just haven't been able to commit on a pattern/color. Looks good on yours though!

Thanks again. It takes a jump, but once you do it, its hard to NOT do it to a rifle.
