It does not look bad at all. I noticed the difference but wasn't sure what it was. I did come across your other post about how you aquired the parts and it answered my questions.

Yes I did. It's actually a 1'x1' section I whipped up out of fishers string.
It's all Krylon. I started off with the green and brown stripped underneath with a dusting of the tan. I didn't much care for how it turned out, so I threw some of the darker colors on top.
I also agree on the muzzle adapter. It was only like $25 and I already had the A2 laying around.
