Woodland MARPAT Esstac MMMurse Enters Service.

    Wow. Where do I start?

As per the other posts in this forum regarding Stu at Esstac's work, my new MMMurse (Marine MARPAT Man Purse) is no exception. Stu's quality and attention to detail are outstanding. The quality of the work easily equals Maxpedition or Blackhawk if not surpassing them.

I ordered the basic bag, added two pistol pouches (Stu sent a freebie third, thanks man!) and a Packrat. I have modded the bag by adding a 5.11 velcro-backed double mag pouch and a Maxpedition universal velcro-backed holster to the inside of the bag. Additionally, I have added some woodland paracord to a few of the zipper pulls to, hopefully, add speed and reliability in high-stress situations.

I have set the bag up for right-side carry with the pistol holster set in a rough FBI cant. Having practiced a bit, I can whip that bag open, grasping the paracord, and draw my weapon pretty quickly now.

The three pistol pouches are attached to the outside of the bag in these pics, but they will eventually get moved to a Woodland MARPAT Boar I intend to order in the near future to, *gasp*, actually hold pistol mags. I am pleased to report that a Surefire 6P Defender series flashlight will fit lens-down in a pistol pouch as well (see pic).

As seen in the pictures, the Packrat is large enough to hold a normal pad, a sizable calculator, several pens and sharpies and even a Rite in the Rain small field book. PALS webbing is also on the outside of the Packrat, so further pouches can be added as necessary.

Enough talk already; here's the pics:

In summation, I couldn't be more pleased and will be ordering more goodies soon!

    Thanks Stu; you're the man!

That looks great in Marpat. I really like it with the 4" velcro versus the 3".
