Calling All Colt Experts, Please help!!

Okay I did some trading for beautiful MT6700. I was told it was owned by a single owner prior to guy I bought it from. Total round count is 50 rounds at the highest. I did some research on Colts before I went to do the trade, so I knew prior to making the deal the BCG wasn't Colt as it didn't have MPC stamped on the bolt nor a C stamped on the carrier. However the BCG that was installed seemed to be of high quality with properly staked gas keys and it was a FA carrier. I have since purchased a genuine Colt FA BCG, and I am using the one that was in the rifle as a spare, which I needed anyway.
Last week I received my new 6920. Upon field stripping the 6920 I saw markings on the side of the hammer face and there was a H on the buffer tube. Below are pics of the hammer in the MT6700, and the Buffer tube. The hammer doesn't have the markings like the one in the 6920 and the buffer tube is void of markings except a gouged area where it comes in contact with the retaining pin. Can somebody tell me if Colt has always marked their hammers and buffer tubes? I am just trying to figure out what I have here. Please don't say " If it works who cares" because I am very anal about my firearms. I appreciate any and all help. Thanks ahead of time
    NCH

Yeah that's what I am trying to figure out. I did a search and found some other photos of Colt lowers and the hammers had no markings on them, but who's to know if they were genuine Colt? That is why I need to know from someone who has been around Colts a long time. Colt doesn't have a email on their website. I can't believe a company this size doesn't have email for customer service??

Markings on parts change from time to time.

That buffer is rifle length, and isn't going to have an H on it. Also not too many companies used notched hammers, and Colt does. Those trigger pins just from my naked eye also look like the over sized pins Colt used to use, and would be tough to find another commercial FCG using that size pins.

Can you post a picture of the "tail" on the trigger? That's the rear area where it contacts the selector.

Thanks for the info. I will get the pic you requested tomorrow morning. I forgot about Colt using different pins on the FCG, although not sure if this one would have the different pins as it doesn't have the sear block, so maybe this is a Colt Hammer and Buffer? Again, I will post more pics in the morning.
    Thanks Again

Yes, that is what was in the buffer spring. I have four AR's but this is the first one I have taken apart. This is a 20" HBAR rifle length gas system as the other member could tell just by looking at it. It almost looks like a Clutch alignment tool. lol!!!

My Colt HBAR had a buffer like that one when I bought it in 2000. I replaced it with a normal one.
