Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear.

Giving NRA money is equal to giving al-qaeda money
Go die in a fire.
Of course she doesn't bring up that over a million people a year use a gun to defend themselves by FBI statistics and how many of the killed are predators that were killed by homeowners and LEO's. How many of those children 17 and under are gang members and are shot by drive-bys and gang battles?
She is just a typical Liberal sheepy and would just hand over her purse and belongings to a robber than try to keep them from getting them.....
One clue for me not to even bother clicking the link....
huffingtonpost....
“For those who have fought for it, freedom has a taste the protected will never know.”
Wow. There is some industrial strength stupid in that page:
So....killed lots of people, have ya Ms. Boosler? Since she's such an expert on killing, I guess she's qualified to tell us that it takes no courage for a SEAL to kill somebody with a firearm, or for a SWAT officer to kill somebody with a firearm. They are, after all, a "coward's" weapon, aren't they? Perhaps Ms. Boosler has developed a new death touch technique that she can teach all of us so that we no longer need such cowardly weapons.Guns are for cowards. You can kill from a distance. You are detached, removed. You don't get your hands dirty. You don't feel the life draining out of another human being in an eye to eye struggle, face to face, with your hands squeezing or beating soft, human, flesh, one on one.
We all know that nobody ever succeeds at mass killings without a firearm, right?

Oops!
Uhh.....I don't guess anyone told her that in the last century there were practically no gun laws to speak of. Anyone literally COULD buy a gun. Just about everyone could also CARRY a gun.We had just as many disturbed, sick citizens in America in the last century as we do in this. The difference now is access to weapons of mass destruction. Anyone can have a gun. Anyone. It did not used to be like this. It's easy to kill now.
We also had a habit of locking crazy people up in prisons and hanging criminals , both of which cut down on the recidivism rate a bit.
Wow. So much stupidity even in a couple of sentences:Screw your "constitutional right" to have an apple, there is something called the "greater good", and the good of the country takes precedence over your "interpretation" of any amendment in the now defunct anyway constitution.
1. The Constitution is "defunct"
2. The Constitution is to be ignored when "the greater good" is at stake
3. F*ck you for having the audacity to complain about your rights when others want to take them away for "the greater good"
Ya.
Good luck with all that.
I don't argue with drunks and I don't pay attention to libtards. Confront stupidity in person, but don't waste time on these moronic rantings. Write letters to your representatives in Congress and write letters to the editor of your local birdcage liner, but don't let the morons get you down.
The blog's comments are even worse.![]()
some funny shit....I must be a scaredy cat and I'll be damned if you show up at my house and quiz me....
WOW! You are good, girlfriend!
"Guns are for Cowards". My thought exactly! I don't have a gun for protection. I'm not afraid. If someone has a gun for protection, aren't they a scaredy cat? But if someone does have a gun for protection, and my 10 yr. old daughter or 12 yr. old son goes to their house to play with their kids, I'm terrified! My good wife, who is so much better a parent than me, doesn't allow our kids to go to someone elses house without first asking if they have guns, and if they say yes, she quizzes them about gun safety and will only allow our kids to go there if she is convinced the guns and ammo are sufficiently secured. Great wife, mine, and pretty too!
And BTY, Elayne, in case it is starting to appear that I'm obsessed with you, don't worry. I'm not a stalker, and you don't have to run out and get one of those fashionable purse guns. I just like your stuff (so long as you lay off Obama, who, BTY, forged some "sensible" gun control legislation in Illinois and had the good sense to know the Iraq war would likely turn out to be a catasrophe.)

This chick is stupid, "take all the guns away"... That would make this woman happy, the problem with that is the people committing these crimes would still have guns because they got them illegally. It would be the law abiding citizens like myself that would not be able to defend my family from these criminals.
