    One of my plinking toys. Didnt like the tri-rail so got rid of it...

    Templar: what kind of light mount do you have on your AUG? I have a MSAR, and I'm wondering if I could use the same one.

    Killjoy, that is a Vltor offset light mount that I took off of my Arsenal Inc. SLR-106's Ultimak rail.

    It was less than ideal, but I got the carbine in the day before a class to T&E and didn't have any other options.

    If I had an AUG type carbine, I'd mount the light as far forward as I could get it, and in this instance, I'd probably run a pressure switch back to the receiver that I could activate with my support hand.
