Did you know how they got a 42 round count? It was supposed to be a 40 round count, and it said(printed) on them 40.

Till they got to fill them! At 42, they were full! They had to alter the mold, put 42! on the outside. They make a good mono-pod, in the prone position.

They are new Austrian mags.

I just checked my NIW AUG mags from manventureoutpost.com. They don't have a country of origin sticker and the website doesn't say either.

They are the same Austrian mags that you would get if you ordered from Steyr USA direct.

Well, I just ordered two 42 round magazines from them. So here is hoping the quality is there, my Christmas present! $16 each.

Made in Austria, perfect. And guess what, you load 42, they take 42, they feed the first, the last, and lock open, just like the M16 magazines? You know, load two short? Sorry, could not help that.
