Night shoot was cancelled due to Metro PD using the range. Won't get another chance to do a night shoot until May. I will definately let everyone know how my setup works out.

Is that rail getting too hot to hold at all under rapid strings of fire?

I am planning on doing something very similiar with an 11 troy extreme on an 11.5 barrel.

Not at all. I put five mags through it as fast as I could the other day (no happy switch) and I could still grip the tube with a bare hand comfortably. My hand did sting a little though from being that close to the TT muzzle brake

I got out last week and it ran great. I have switched the light to a TLR-1 mounted at 12 O'Clock. I realy like that setup. The Triple Tap was a little bit rougher on the flash side of things than an A2 but I have also put about 1K rounds through it without cleaning it at all.
