    cleaning bolt

    i am sorry if this is a dumb ques but how do i clean the bolt carrier....does it dissassemble somehow? i can't figure it out ....sorry but i am new to this

    You just remove the firing pin retaining pin, firing pin, cam pin and bolt from the carrier. You DO NOT remove the carrier key and screws for normal cleaning.

    i am referring to a 9mm Bolt.....(just wanted to make sure that was said)....thanks for the help

    I just remove the firing pin and clean it, the firing pin channel (since 9mm puts brass flakes everywhere), and get with a toothbrush underneath the extractor (I try not to remove it at all).
