    If it was soldered then it would have turned once the solder was "broken." Instead he cleaned the threads off the muzzle by dragging the blind pin across them,

    indeed.. i said "properly" pinned. if they only drilled a hundredth past the threads, that would perfectly explain his description

    I meant to say i would bet $$ that "almost everyone" who owns a pair of vice grips has at least one story of stripping the hella out of something or breaking
