Looks like I'm stuck in the low rent district round these parts.

Trijicon Reflex that I picked up for a steal. The washout issues that are often commented on here are completely valid. If I were a cop or military doing any kind of entry into buildings I would not want one on my rifle. That being said, outside it is an excellent option for quick acquisition. As long as you are outside it gathers enough light on cloudy days or bright and sunny days that it won't washout against any background. Inside a building and looking out at objects or backgrounds with high albedo is a no-go. If you are strictly shooting outside it is an excellent optic for a hobby or sport rifle out to 200 yards. I can put hits on a target out to 300 yards but the 12.5 MOA triangle is a bit imprecise once you get that far out. 0-100 yards it is excellent.

I have started a build for a dedicated 3-gun rifle, and it will probably eventually sport a TR24 although I am leaning towards shooting tac-irons for a while.

Trijicon TR24 (w/green triangle) I have it on T&E from Trijicon and have to give it back soon. I used it yesterday to take 1st Place Civilian at the Quantico 3gun match hosted by Combat Marksmanship Team at Quantico Weapons Training Battalion. It's a great scope well worth the price. We shot out to 300yds. I closed off the fiber optic for the long distance stuff so that the green triangle wasn't blooming. It worked well. I went 1 for 1 on the Ivan (knock down) targets that ranged from 150-300yds and on the four pieces of LaRue steel at 300yds. I had the TR24 in a Bobro 30mm scope mount.

Yup, it is too low to co-witness for now. I've got a QD mount on the way that will raise it. I almost like the height of it right now. It's low enough for me to get a good cheek weld in an agressive stance.

No...I wish I was. I shot this match with a hernia (which hurts a little today). I see my surgeon tomorrow to see when he wants to cut on me which will probably be this week sometime or next week. Hopefully I'll still make the VA/MD Sectional USPSA match toward the end of this month.

Say hi to the USMCs Combat Marksmanship Team at LaRue 3gun, good bunch of guys and some great shooters.
