    Thanks! Paints still a bit soft. I attached the dust cover anyway and marred it a bit, I mean gave it some character.

    After some hesitation I finally decided to jump in yesterday. Did some touching up today and figure it’s done. It started looking like it might rain so I brought it inside. Once it’s all set I’ll take some pics outside and see how bad the colors are off with the surroundings (hopefully not too bad).

    Self Adhesive stencils weren’t sticking well, so I stopped about halfway through. Gotta figure out how to finish, probably going to try the Primary Arms stencil sheet:

    Just cut your own stencil and hold close to the rifle. Great start BTW.

    Thanks. I was thinking of tracing out the adhesive sheets I was using. Gives me something to do after tomorrow’s yard work.

    Board policy mandates I state that I shoot for BCM. I have also done work for 200 or so manufacturers within the firearm community. I am prior service, a full time LEO, firearm instructor, armorer, TL, martial arts instructor, and all around good guy.

    I also shoot and write for various publications. Let me know if you know cool secrets or have toys worthy of an article...
