I like it. I'll be painting one of my beaters as soon as I finish the lower.

Tacticalized mags for the pic thread:

That white (or silver?) against the camo looks great!

Thanks, its just a standard white paint pen that I use to mark all of my mags that way. I'm doing my D-60 next, though I'll probably replace my Krylon with Aervoe first.

I think you'll be pleased with the Aervoe. I didn't think there could be that much difference, but there definitely is.

*I've repeatedly wiped break-free seepage away from all the moving parts, with zero paint transfer to the rag.

I tried and failed to duplicate Colt grey with rattle-cans on my 727 style carbine.
Despite falling short of the mark, I don't think it looks terrible.

    #fact. It’s all I use now. (Aervoe).

Both paint jobs are 100%! I love the green! I mean, I hate seeing a KAC's painted, but I already forgave you! Great Job!

Looks great! Kinda looks like tungsten grey or sniper grey cerekote. Is that a 14.5" or 16" barrel? Make of flash hider?

Two 11.5" duplicates with different optics. Still deciding if I want to paint the black one.

That top one looks really good.

Board policy mandates I state that I shoot for BCM. I have also done work for 200 or so manufacturers within the firearm community. I am prior service, a full time LEO, firearm instructor, armorer, TL, martial arts instructor, and all around good guy.

I also shoot and write for various publications. Let me know if you know cool secrets or have toys worthy of an article...
