    For regular spray paint there’s no need; might also be smelly. I usually leave mine mounted to my vise via mag well block for a day or two before using.

    Depends on outside temps, humidity, where you live, how much time you have, if you are doing other work on the weapon, what paint is being used etc etc.. For a lot of people it won't matter, for some, a heat gun or oven is important.

    Board policy mandates I state that I shoot for BCM. I have also done work for 200 or so manufacturers within the firearm community. I am prior service, a full time LEO, firearm instructor, armorer, TL, martial arts instructor, and all around good guy.

    I also shoot and write for various publications. Let me know if you know cool secrets or have toys worthy of an article...
