Great paint job 5B! I'll have to try the broom stalk thing when I get up the nerve to paint my Colt.

The metal hasn't been touched yet.

I'm trying to figure out the appropriate DC colors now that I have found Krylon colors I like.

I really like that combo. Would you mind sharing your blend? I've been atempting to find a great Panzer/Mule deer gray that's flat.

    No grays there.

It's just the Three on the left in this pic:

No, they have no names on the labels or cans either...

I can get you SKUs though.

    Here's my problem

I've painted my AR twice now, using Krylon OD, Tan, and earth brown. I want my AR to look like it belongs in the sandbox...

The Krylon tan is OK I geuss for the base, but the earth brown is too dark and I can't seem to find the color for the desert sceme I'm looking for...

Home Depot Rustoleum Camoflage Series (Brown and Tan). Finsihed off with Rustoleum Matte Clear Protective Coat (Hopefully it doesn't rub off too easily).

She may be fugly, (but aside from a few user-error induced experiements) she's never had a hiccup in over 15,000 rounds. The only time that I had issues was when I tried a 9mm buffer and it was too heavy for it and caused FTF.
