And here's a shot to show the full rifle. I'll respray it next spring when I replace the barrel before ETS'ing. After seeing all of this new KMR hotness, I may go that route and change my rail, too. The only thing I want to change about this setup is to pick up an ALG ACT trigger and maybe go with a 14.5" barrel with a pinned FH to shave a little bit of length off of the front end.

But, as it stands now:

BCM BFH 16" middy, standard profile, A2 flash hider
Colt SOCOM lower (Colt trigger and I believe it's a KAC ambi safety that came on these. No idea, it's the same one we have on our M4A1s)
KAC front/Troy rear BUIS
TA31ECOS-G ACOG
Daniel Defense M4A1 RIS II
Surefire M600 Scout Ultra on a Gear Sector mount


I route my tape switch cable underneath the KAC sight. Keeps it low profile and protects the cable from getting snagged.

I'd stay further away from what you're painting and vary the areas of pattern. Don't make the rifle one big mesh blob. Just my opinion though

I thought about that too and using brown and green through the netting over the tan to maybe break it up more.

That looks sharp man. Nice work. I just bought some cans on Monday and hope to see what happens on my practice gun that I have lying around (cheap airsoft gun of my little brothers that doesn't work)
