The SOCC was cheap and didn't require me to spend money on tools I had no room for or pay for a gunsmith. Just hacked off the delta ring, tapped out the front sight base and went to work.

I finally get to contribute lol! I just finished getting it reassembled after I did the cerakote on it earlier this week. Went with patriot brown. Came out great!
Sig 516 G2 upper with a dead air flash hider pinned/welded.
Lower is an m4a1 clone made by PSA that I scored for $4 lol! Cmmg parts kit and BCM buffer tube. Has a geissele maritime bolt catch installed.

Thanks man, I’m very happy with how it turned out. The sig 1911 is awesome. Shoots extremely well. I added the threaded barrel last month in preparation for the rugged obsidian 45 I have in NFA jail.
