LOL, when I was doing a lot of spraying with Norrells Molyresin, I used to spray my carriers. I knew it offered nothing in the way of fancy protection or magic, but it never created any issues. Since I do a crazy amount of pictures, it was really more just a matter of having something unique. Now its easy to get a carrier whatever color someone wants.

The Lantac uses a different venting (in the carrier I'm using here), so its more than just a pretty looking BCG. We will see how the carrier looks after a couple hundred rounds, because I'm not exactly a clean freak with most of my ARs.

Camo'd my Geissele/ADM today. I tried to use Marpat as a rough template. While it didn't come out exactly how I wanted it, I'm pretty happy about it as it almost looks like a woodland tiger-stripe. The only thing that bugs me is that my youngest (5yr old) knocked it over as it was drying and my Geissele airbourne charging handle bent. It still works, and this is probably the 3rd time it's fallen over on that side but now I'm gunna replace it, and damn those or even Raptors aren't as cheap as they used to be.

Wait so a $100 Geissele charging handle bent by a 5 year old knocking it over?

$105 on PA, and it was leaned up against the garage fridge on a Rubbermaid storage container maybe 2 feet off the ground. This is the 3rd fall for this rifle, with the other times from my trucks tail gate, but still, it does tick me off

Still raises questions about just how "Super" the part really is.

Agreed. I wouldn't expect a Raptor to bend from that height. It might, but I'd be shocked. How do you fall down a mountain and expect your rifle to work if it can't take a little tumble?

If you can wait for one of Geissele's frequent holiday sales you will find one for well under $100... I've bought several that way. I usually get the "Airborne" model with it's reduced handle size, less likely to be damaged under rough handling.

As for kids; if you leave something out in plain sight, that shouldn't be where it is, your kids will avoid it. Try to hide it or at least put it out of the way... it will be broken or lost forthwith...
