Nice blaster btw. Any carbine/rifle that goes through hard use will eventually look that.
Krylon works well for most applications, but but it does come off eventually.

This is the first rifle that I have painted and will probably be my last.It gets used quite a bit running around Pineland and the Brownell's Aluma Hyde II seems to be holding up very well.This rifle has caused and will continue to cause a lot of Pineland ODA's to have bad dreams.

18" SS barreled LMT MRP in 6.8 SPC with a Trijicon TR24G using Silver State Armory 110gr Barnes TSX Ammunition. Kills Deer on contact.

I know this thread is about painted AR's but I cant help but ask where you shot that deer, it looks like a hybrid? The body and ears look like whitetail but the antlers look like a mule deer. Maybe just a non typical?

The gun is a combo. The upper is the new Noveske 5.56 Rogue Hunter, with a light weight contour stainless barrel. The lower is a Gen I POF with a G & R LPK. I Duracoated the rifle with Magpul flat dark earth first. Then I made some stencils and did them in Krylon (just in case I did not like em). I did the stencils with a brown, OD, and a shade of light tan. They were to pronounced, for me at least. So, I kind of dusted over them with a light tan and it gave it the mutted look I was looking for. I live in NM, so this color scheme matches the enviornment here perfect. Sometime I will take some lying on the ground and you can see.
