J frames are close in weapons. Anyone thinking they might be used for shooting at someone 25, or even 15 yards, away is engaging in mental masturbation.

Check to be sure where your chosen ammo impacts relative to your point of aim. J-frames are known for not necessarily shooting to point-of-aim. So far, mine has only shot POA/POI with the new Nyclad's.

If you choose to use laser grips, be sure they're zeroed with your chosen ammo. Don't trust the factory zeroing, which is only 15 feet anyway.

I went through the whole grip thing. Nice wood sets, tyler grips, etc. Found that the best shooting grips for me are the hogue one piece bantam grips.
