man that is a beast of gun. do u have to use a mag specifically for that round, or can u put them in a standard m-16 magazine?

It uses standard mags. My first Wulf had a preference for Thermolds. I use an H buffer and M16 carrier. I did have some feeding issues with this build but tracked it down to a bad extractor. Recoil is a lot less than many claim. Offhand it's a pussy cat. On the bench it's not so bad. That's why I went for the flash suppressor over a brake. Recoil management is more about proper shooting technique than anything else at this level any way. It's not a BMG after all. The FS-50 flash suppressor rings like a church bell with every shot though...

So, I assume that comes as a full dedicated upper assembly and not just a barrel and bolt swap?
It looks interesting but they are going for $700+ and I have yet to secure my first 5.56 upper or even any reloading equipment.
You can purchase an assembled upper. I originally had an Alexander Arms built upper. I had sold it for some quick holiday cash a couple of years prior to building this upper. It was issue free and very accurate.
I still had a bunch of ammo and brass so I built this one myself. Cost me less than the Alexander Arms upper and I was able to configure it they way I wanted.
The ejection port needs to be opened up a little for a Beowulf. Other than that it's no different than any other upper build.
I love the beowulf ..i have a short one..
Who makes factory ammo for the .50 beuwolf? It seems like a fun hog thumper but price has to be through the roof...
