My EBR v2, and BAD seem to work on a friend's forged MUR, with my LWRCi M6A3 lower receiver.

The EBR v2 has a little more clearance though.

Also, KAC ambidextrous bolt release clears, and functions as intended.
    We miss you, AC.

Im a newbie here and will probably get flamed for this but I thik the B.A.D. lever is a solution to a problem that never existed. I think the stock bolt release wasn't designed for it and too much leverage can be applied with it causing the bolt release to brake off at it's thinnest point. I've seen it happen to a few people. YMMV.

Thanks for all of the replies guys. I haven't looked at some of the other similar products, just the BAD so far. I am in the process of evaluating the BAD for our department rifles both for the tac team and patrol to see what the opinion of the BAD is with our officers. I sent NickB a message so I will wait to see what his thoughts are.

In my limited testing so far, I like the speed of the BAD when switching mags, we use a clamp with 2 mags, a poor department's redi-mag.

    Keep you guys posted.
    Thanks,
    Dave

Not everything put out is a solution to a problem but enhancements to current platforms. It is not physically possible to apply such force with your index finger to cause a bolt release to break how you explained. If a bolt release has broken then that is usually an indicator of a problem with that particular part.

Just an update to everyone. I just got a voicemail from someone at Magpul about this situation and I referenced the forum for pics. They stated that the BAD was designed for a standard upper with a standard lower/bolt catch. When you add the MUR, which is thicker you may have some issues. He recomended that I could try to bend my bolt catch slightly but added that there wasn't much to file off of the back of the MUR.

Just a heads up to those out there with MURs. I am not sure what I am going to do, may just leave it off, anyone try bending/filing a bolt catch before? I looked at the BAD again and I may be able to get it to fit if I file a little off the edge but don't want to weaken the part at all either since this is going on a duty gun.

    Anyone else have and ideas?
Thanks to all of you that have replied so far.

Using only the lever part of the Magpul BAD, leaving off the rear clamping piece, you could drill both the BAD and the bolt release paddle, thread them both and locktite the screw.

We used to make our own old school bolt assist devices in this manner. I still run one of my old school levers mounted in this fashion on a Sun Devil upper / lower combo due to clearance issues.

I don't have a close up right now, but here is the set up I run on the Sun Devil.
