Definitely going Nightforce here, just choosing between the 1-4 and 2.5-10X24. I figure the extra magnification will be great for shooting groups from the bench or prone but 2.5x is still fast enough at 25-50 yds . The 1-4 does seem good enough for shooting groups from what I hear though and having true 1x doesn't hurt. Tough call here.

Tough call. If you want true versatility, you could do the 2.5-10 and also mount an rmr. Personally, I'd go 1-4 on a 3 gun or defensive weapon and the 2.5-10 on something more like an spr.

I know you seem to have your heart set on the Nightforce, but you seem to be discounting the TR24 based on eye relief. The Nightforce and the Trijicon both have the same amount of eye relief listed at 3.5"

No, I just worded it wrong. I was guessing that Lethal Dose had a problem with eye relief maybe because the scope was't far enough forward if he's a ntch shooter. I ended up purchasing the NF 1-4 with NP1 in a Larue extended mount with a cat tail.
Now if anyone wants to buy a kidney from me, let me know .

You shouldn't turn the discussion board into a marketplace... there's an ee for that... ugh... how much, again?

How much for the kidney or how much for the optic combo?

$15k just kidding. I'll do a range report on the NF 1-4 when it arrives. By far the most I've spent on an optic setup.

Looking forward to a range report as I am interested in the same optic.

    Thanks
