I took Spanish in high school and college and didn't learn a thing. Are there some good free online websites where you can learn to habla espanol?

Not sure about free websites, but I have been quite happy with my ability to learn foreign language using Rosetta Stone.

Get a job working at a burger joint. You'll HAVE to learn spanish to be able to communicate with your kitchen staff.

    I speak from experience.

I used / use Rosetta Stone Latin American Spanish

    Friggin great program.

    Websites I also use.... FREE

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/spanish/

    http://www.instaspanish.com/component/joomunity/

    http://radiolingua.com/

    http://radiolingua.com/shows/spanish...break-spanish/

    http://www.practicespanishonline.com/

    http://www.learn4good.com/languages/...ee_lessons.htm

In addition to these I listen to and or read the BBC's El Mundo online and a newspaper from Hondo and the DR.

Its a process but I find it has been easier than taking Spanish at the local university and its cheaper.

    Hope these help.

This is free http://www.byki.com/ They have Spanish. I have been using it to learn Irish & like it.

I've looked at Rosetta Stone & intend to pick it up in the future . . like for my little girl's birthday.
