Okay,
I must be ignorant, can someone please tell me how you conduct a reload when you have your spare mag attached to the drop holster?
Thanks for any replies

My answer, you don't.
Use that pouch for your leatherman or as storage for the mag when you need to clear your weapon.

I use that mag pouch for reloading when holding a shield in my left hand,
"Respect all, fear none"
Oh sure go and add some weird LE thing to the mix
That NEVER occured to me

Of course things were going terribly wrong if I got through 21 rounds! That time on the shield made me a better one handed shooter with the "hand" gun.
GET IN YOUR BUBBLE!
Thanks for the replies...thought maybe I was missing something.
I've had troops show up wearing that type set up. When reload time came they looked like they were playing twister!
Still, I see thigh rigs set up that way in advertisements

That's cause no one showed them how to run a drop leg either.. let alone the mag pouch.I've had troops show up wearing that type set up. When reload time came they looked like they were playing twister!
When I had a Drop leg that had a built in Magazine pouch I kept either a G21 flashlight or a Multi tool in it.. never kept a mag.
I never used it for quick reloads but always figured it never hurts to have a extra magazine.
