I see that ammo there. I see that. That’s what I’m envious about.

Just put this 14.5” mid-length together.

The EAG is one smooth shooter...I'm tempted to drop an H2 in it to see if it'll reduce recoil even further.

Edit: Yes, I know the mount is on backwards, it's how it came upon arrival...it's since been turned around.

I have an EAG that is my go to. With the H, it cycles everything. With the H2, it chokes on both Remington and Federal .223.

Thanks for the 411...you may have just saved me about $30 in ammo testing my H2 theory.

I had an EAG upper like that and it was probably the best upper I ever had. I would stay with the H buffer as that barrel is probably old enough to have the smaller gas port and will shoot flatter with the lighter buffer. The original 14.5” mids they did were tuned for carbine buffers and 5.56 ammo. I kick myself for letting go of my early barrels from BCM.

I think the mount was probably backwards to get the lever off the body side when slung.

Wish I had a nickle every time I heard this statement...and I agree w/You, took it to the range today and decided how can you improve on something that's darn near perfect; re heavier buffer.

Edit: I've got a three digit BCM A4 (top) that's a tack-driver for what it is...may even free-float it; any suggestions as to which rail, please feel free.
