Personally I liked my Helios better than the trekker. I cant say on reliability, for the short time I had them, they both did what I wanted. One got shwacked when my pig got IED'd in Iraq and I lost the other one. This is something that I go back and forth on. I like lighters like the Trekker, Helios. Though I have only used the Helios, and Firestorm first hand. Loved them and thought that they worked way better than a average zippo. But I found them to be finicky depending on fuel and at high altitude the zippo worked much better. I no longer carry a lighter at all times like I did in years past, but after I lost my Helios I resorted back to one of my zippos. I never had to many problems and it was cheaper if I lost it.
