How to obtain old military pay records?

Does anybody have any advice on how to obtain old military pay records? I need to get my records showing my allotments paid to my son's mother, of my own volition. After 15 years she now wants to sue me for back payment of child support, never went to court, and I need to obtain these for court documentation. Thanks for any help!!!

EDIT: Dates would be from 1/97 - 1/01.

Irish, my advice would be to call HQ of whatever branch of service you were in, and also DFAS. Good luck, it took a letter to Sen. Ensign to just get my updated DD-214 after I made 2 attempts through normal channels.

DFAS will have that information and be able to give you copies.

    1-800-321-1080

That takes you to the retirement branch but they should be able to direct you from there.

    Good luck
