I thought they already did a Muhammad thing a while ago....demonstrating nicely the reality of the situation in the world today by portraying Jesus in a disrespectful manner with no controversy while a benign portrayal of Muhammed sent the world into a tizzy.

I mean, a guy puts a crucifix in a jar of urine and the debate is about whether or not he should receive public funding for doing it...not whether or not he should face a grizzly death for his insolence.

They've never struck me as particularly liberal. I assume that they knew what would happen and did the show anyway. Mainly because I think they want to be able to do just that, call a spade a spade.

As far as the man advocating terrorism on the streets of NYC in the article's video, I can't believe someone hasn't dealt with him by now. He proudly advocates that it is his job to spread terror via fear, yet is still somehow protected by the Constitution.

This is such a load of B.S. In season 5 they actually show him, not censored. That was in July of 2001. Why was there not an uproar then? Now the episode is not allowed to be aired. We need to stop letting these extremists push us around and change our culture to please them. It's getting old.

You may not see them as liberal, but the show has no conservative values or concepts whatsoever. Edgy = Progressive.

I couldn't care less who they trash next (always a redeeming quality), if you are a fan, then you are a fan of a liberal, progressive show. Just that simple.
