Which mount for an Aimpoint M4S... opinions needed.

I am considering a Bobro, ADM or a Larue mount for the M4S. I want the SOCOM height with a lower 1/3 cowitness. I am leaning towards the Bobro (1st choice) and I also like the ADM (2nd choice). I know the Larue is popular, but I have a friend with one and it has marked up his rail pretty good from removing and reinstalling.

This will go on my Colt 6920 and it's not a safe queen, but I like to keep my stuff looking nice. I don't want to mark it up any more than would be expected from normal use. I will be using it for target shooting out to about 200 yards and home defense.

Please share your opinions and your personal experiences with the 3 choices. Thanks...

Sounds like your friend has the mount adjusted too tight.

That's what I told him, but he says it's not. Maybe he is wrong.

This is very close to what you would get with adm, this is just the setup w. socom lower 1/3 riser for the t-1. ADM is fantastic!

You need to contact Larue and see if the M4S fits the mount. I found a problem with the low battery not fitting some mounts.

Another thing I found was the mount that comes with the M4S is not that bad. Read the instructions about how it tightens down. It is a rock solid mount that returns to zero as good as anything else.

Larue mounts work with the m4s I've got that set up.....

To Op: I would give the Bobro a shot. I have heard excellent things about them. That will most likely be my next mount. There a bit hard to find though. And I think the normal Bobro mount only fits the M4 ( I could be wrong) but I believe they make one for the m4s as well. So just make sure you buy the right one. (All you might need is a riser idk)

I went with the "SOCOM Height" ADM for my M4S. Works well and I haven't had any issues.

bobro or larue both are great . You friends larue is probably to tight but you most likely will nick you rail up eventually with any mount if you remove and install constantly and don't pay attention
