Which mount for an Aimpoint M4S... opinions needed.

I have the Larue mount for my M4s but to be honest, it doesn't come off the rifle very often. Do you plan on switching out multiple optics on the same rifle or what? Put it on and leave it be.

Thanks for the feedback. I don't plan to remove the mount very often though I may occasionally change it out for a Leupold VXIII 4.5x14 scope that is usually on a different rifle.

I have read other posts indicating that the Larue mounts are excellent but have been known to leave marks from the clamp. As it has been said perhaps these folks have it too tight. I'm not trying to make a big deal about this but I don't like to pick a component only to want to replace it later (I have done this before... changing my mind).

Just trying to make the best decision. I'm still leaning towards the Bobro or the ADM. Thanks again for the replies.

Yes, the Larue mounts do leave marks. I have moved my m4s few times trying to find the "perfect" spot. When I move it there are very light scuff marks. They don't bother me.

Bobro has a different locking mechanism that automatically adjust to the rail size. Because of this you supposedly cannot tighten too much, leaving a mark. Because of this it also allows you to move the mount to different uppers easily without the need for readjustment.

Larue is great. That said, I will give Bobro a run for it's money someday when I need another mount. I say go Bobro-be different

I am considering going with the Bobro. Hopefully I can find a package deal including the M4S and the Bobro SOCOM mount. The Bobro seems to be hard to find. I have found a decent price for the M4S and the ADM mount but I think I would prefer to try the Bobro. Has anyone used the Bobro with the M4S?
