Sweet!!! One of those is on my list also, but I have a few other weapons ahead of the 6.8 and 6.5.. manufacture is still unknown at this time...

A friend of mine has the Barrett M468 that I have played around with, I may get one from them, or I may build my own version... hmmmmmmm?

    enjoy!!!!!!! J.

I like the Barrett M468 and I really like your setup. My only concern is the cost of the 6.8 SPC round itself.... Since it was never picked-up by the Military or very many Police units nation wide, How much are the rounds in comparison with say the M855 round?

Silver State FMJ loads are running about $11 per box give or take. Federal FMJ .308 for comparison is running $12+ a box. South African is going for $8.50 a box on average, or more. Federal 55 gr FMJ is going for around $7 a box. $9 per 20 for M855.
Cost is no longer the issue though, at least for me. I can find 6.8 ammo as easy or in some cases easier than I can find 5.56/.223 and .308. All the cheap prices in the world mean nothing if there is nothing to buy.
