Thread: Foreward grip, is closer to the barrel better?

    Probably not a feesible option with the MOE handguard, but the Gear Sector handstop is incredible. What you could do is put continuous rail sections on the bottom of the MOE with the GS handstop, then cover the unused rail sections with XTM panels (XT panels are too low for the GS hs, XTM fit it better.)

    Might look and feel weird, I don't own the MOE so I'm just throwing this out there.

    I didn't like the AFG because there wasn't anything solid enough to pull back on. I like to pull the rifle into my chest.

    This was the first thing I noticed with the AFG having been a long time stubby grip user as a handstop. Because of this with the AFG I naturally wrapped my index finger around the front stop of the AFG to give more rear pressure. Works well, just in case you want to give it a try.
