    Great news Blu-Ray owners.

The Road will be released May 25th.

Here are some other upcoming Blu-Ray releases.

Just a head's up, this Tuesday. Considering the limited theatrical release, my bet is this will sell quite a few copies on DVD/Blu-Ray.

I'll definitely be getting The Road. Thanks for the reminder.

I'll pass. I just could not get into the book.

Well I wouldn't pass it up just because you couldn't get into the book. The movie was eerie, it had a profound impact on any notion of SHTF grandeur.

The book is much better but I will pick up the Blu-ray as my wife has not seen it. Thanks.

I've been counting the days. I'm off Tuesday and the wife will be at work and the boy at school. I'll be picking it up first thing in the morning.

I havn't been affected by a book the way I was by "The Road" in quite a while, maybe ever. I didn't see the movie because I didn't want my image of it tainted.

Can any of those here that have seen it and read the book vouch for the quality of the flick?

+1 The book and movie are great, but definitely depressing.

The movie doesn't quite live up to the book. I wasn't super disappointed, it was still a good flick. It's just hard to go from a very moving, great book and turn it in to an equally as impressive film. YMMV.
