I pay $22.00 for a Blu-Ray movie and it usually includes a DVD copy or at least a digital copy.

And for your opinion on the movie, why even bother posting if you already know so much about it. How about trying something before you spout an opinion claiming it is boring.

I don't see anything constructive here.

Maybe things are cheaper in Texas then. Lets see I bought Hurt Locker $30, Avatar: $32, Fourth Kind: $30. This was all this week. I only bought them since I had a gift card.

And as far as a movie being boring. No I haven't seen it. It is only an opinion. And also tends to be the same across the board as far as reviews for the movie goes.

I have high hopes for the movie for the opposite reasons. The book was a real yawner IMO...Although not bad as Blood Meridian.I at least finished The Road.

I'll never understand how the description of a sunset over a mountain can get nearly a full page(only a slight exaggeration). While an "action sequence" where someone loses a head doesn't get half of that. This somehow passes for deep writing that only a philistine doesn't enjoy. *shrug*

Just not a McCarthy fan I suppose.

I think the story of The Road is much better suited to a two hour movie than an entire book...Shouldn't really even need to cut anything(other than filler).

    Guess I'll find out tomorrow.

I just finished watching it at home, it had a much deeper impact on me when I saw it at the theater. I'd rate it a must rent, but not a must buy.
