Those NM carriers are a gimmick and a waste of money. Y/ M also doesn't release any info on their products (steel type, tests, etc). Gas keys are not staked. If you stake it, Y/M voids your warranty.

BCM on the other hand does everything right on their BCGs.

This should be an incredibly easy decision.

I just got my BCM....and it's very nice. I cannot really compare it to anything other than the Bushy I also have...but in that comparison I can tell you the BCM defiantly wins hands down. You can seriously just look at it and tell by the craftsmanship.

Well you made my decision easier! BCM it is!

I just thought YM was suppose to be top notch as well. Rainier Arms carries their whole line up. They look to be staked too (Rainier probably did it). Anyways I have to go there to get my lower and barrel so I thought I might kill three birds with one stone, I live close by That said, I will not be doing that anymore lol.

    I will be buying BCM.

    Thank you for the input.

BCM as it is better quality and tested per the Military Standard.

I have been really happy with Young National Match. And they make an M16 version.

    What constitutes a USGI BCG?
