    Best 870 railed forend?

Looking for a low profile, high quality railed forend for my 870p.

I tried the Surefire 618LF for a light solution and didnt like it. Im thinking a surefire x300 and some KAC handstops are in order, so can someone point me in the right direction on this one?

    Thanks

I have been considering doing this to my shotgun as well. I like the pics, the one from Botach doesn't look bad.

Has anyone used a rail system and a Magpul AFG with it? I was thinking that combo would be pretty functionable..???

    Thanks

I have the one in Buck's picture. It is VERY slim. I use Magpul XT panels which roughly approximate the size of the OEM forend. If you're planning on using the "rubber" ladders you might find it a bit too slim. That's all personal preference though. I really like it.

I don't use it as a combat shotgun though. It was strictly set up to deal with night time winged bandits coming after our small critters on the farm.

    Surefire for sure!!

though it's pricey, the quality is definitely worth it. Check out my thread in the shotgun forum, titled " 870 build complete OD cerakote" the forend is a Surefire, though it's covered with magpul rail covers. It's the way to go.
