    Clean it off before you give it to him and make sure he knows it's for a Mac so he can format some FAT32 partitions on it so you'll be able to use that drive on a PC and a Mac.

    nick, more than likely all of your stuff is in Documents and Settings\your_name. It won't hurt your Mac to copy it over or at least to say a 16gig thumb drive or better yet a FAT32 partition on an external drive.
