Unless you buy a firearm from someone whose firearm care procedures you know and approve of, you should always clean and lube a new gun before its first trip to the range.
Always, always, (one last time) always clean and lube factory new guns. It is amazing how a 12# AR trigger with a terrible feel can be cleaned up by getting the goober off of the FCG and get a little lube on it.

    Dewey Chamber kit?

    Hi,

I got a Dewey Chanber kit. Seemed like copper portion of chamber brush was very long- does it definitely not extend into the bore?

I also could not get the large back end of the mop to fit the lug area; the chamber portion of the mop was too tight to go all the way in

lastly, how far down on the lug cleaning kit from dewey do you oush that little delrin sleeve? seemed like the cotton pieces of the end of the lug rod attachment still had trouble getting into all of the lug recesses.

FYI- patchworm and their .22 felts (made by VCG). I really like them.
